St Anton (Austria) - Austrian Mario Matt won the gold and teammate Bejamin Raich got silver in the men's slalom, the concluding event of the world alpine ski championships Saturday.
Matt clocked a combined total 1 minute 39.66 seconds from two runs, the first round leader Raich had 1:39.81 after a mistake in the second run.
Mitja Kunc of Slovenia won the bronze medal from seventh place after the first run in 1:40.36 minutes. (kil/dpa)
